What's your fav comic book?

im starting a collection and was wondering what i should collect?

XMEN!! I loved this comic as a kid and collected it for about 7 years and then had to stop cuz it was getting too expensive. (When I started buying it, each comic was $1 and then they changed the paper to shiny glossy paper and price evenutally was $5 each). Downside, you can't just buy Xmen... you have to also buy Xmen Unlimited, X-Factor, etc.... There must be at least 5 "X" comics so that's minimum $25-30 dollars per month, not counting the "special" edition, Crossovers, etc.

But If, you are going to buy it as a graphic novel, I suggest.. The Phoenix Saga and Age of Apocalypse.

1. The Spider-Man and MJ kissing in the rain scene from Spider-Man. That was so cool. I would love to do that to someone I love in the rain. 2. Mystique as Jean Grey going into Wolverine's tent scene in X2. Wow, that was hot. 3. Jean Grey killing Professor X in X3. A little unexpected, but a good scene none the less. 4. Nightcrawler's first scene in X2. Now that is what I call an entrance to a film. 5. The Last Stand fight scene with all of the mutants ready for a showdown in X3. That was clash of the Titans.

First off, you might wanna try graphic novels first. That way, if you end up getting one of those, you could have collection of issues at once. My favorite graphic novels are pretty much Batman comics. Start with the Knightfall saga.

I also grew up with x-men, but back then it was the only 'x' title, and only 35 cents an issue. then came The New Mutants, x-force, x-factor etc. When marvel kicked Chris Claremont (writer) off the x-men, thats when i stopped.

I actually remember looking at & enjoying x-men before i could read. Just collect whatever u enjoy...
