Meaning the newer songs. To me they don't make any sense.

Every genre of music, rap, rock, country, even showtunes, has its good and its bad. Rap music that has a meaning, that gives dignity and power to african-american people, I can respect. Rap songs that talk about pimps, hos and bling is crap. Rap is all about the artists experience. If they know what its like to be down and out, to have to fight to survive, it comes through in there music. Then, when they get famous, I think they start to lose that connection to real street life. All they sing about after a certain point is how rich they are and how many bitches theyve got. That is the kind of music that is infuriating.
Oh, and anyone who says drop it like its hot should be slapped.
But dont start a ******* race war. Thats just ignorant. try having a discussion instead of just complaining about a type of music you dont happen to like.

As opposed to the old rap songs which were not crap and did make sense ?
Singers such as Puffedwheat ,widlemon and dizcombobulated were just down home ganstas that could tell of pimping ho's and busting caps like no other.
I can really identify with members of a disenfranchised minority that have more money then sense, limosenes, ho,s at there beck and call and all the bling you could want, living in uptown anywhere talking about the "hood" and then telling me how bad they got it.
Me I was the guy who put the "C" in rap!
