how do i approach people? I'm shy?

Ask friends to introduce you. If you catch someone looking at you, smile at them. If they smile back just go over and talk to them - don't give yourself a chance to think about it - just do it. Keep talking to people no matter how scared you are. After a while your confidence will increase. Know that most people aren't rude (there are a few though), so for every knock back, there will be ten people willing to talk.

I am an extremely shy person so I know where you are coming from. Just take a second and think about it. What is the worst a person could do. Just be yourself and everything will be okay. There is nothing wrong with joining people in conversation or telling a person that you love them (after knowing them for a while of course >.<) The very worst they could do was tell you to go away which doesn't happen very often. Most of the time people enjoy being talked to. It shows that they are interesting. Talking = positive

depends. if ur in school, first off, don't tell urself that ur too sy to talk and that u dont have a right to talk. thats not true. then, just say the first nice thing that comes to mind without making it really suggestive. then try to build a conversation based on experience. be as nice as you can and just let it flow. i used to be amasingly shy now i talk too much. also, when you talk to someone, you don't have to keep thinking 'what if i say something wrong' or 'are they mad at me?'. there is little reason to be nervous. u can just relax when talking.


to aproach somebody for example in class, ask somebody for help on something thats a good start. maybe if you can say something funny that you notice, don't be afraid to tell people.

I have always been very shy myself. I know as I have gotten older it has become easier to approach people.Just be yourself and try not to worry about what people are thinking about you. I know that is easier said than done but the more you do it the easier it will become.

I know how you feel.....I used to be very shy but i tried very hard to get rid of it and I actually did though I am a little bit shy sometimes....I was so determined to get rid of it so I decided to go out just to talk to people and know how they think and feel....Do it even if you think its a stupid idea..It will help you in the long run...Eventually, you wont be shy anymore....Good Luck

are you a chick?. if your a chick it's really easy, just play with your hair a little bit and give out hugs. if your a dude, its so much harder if your shy. chicks don't like shy guys.
