No this is definitely a scam. It has all of the signs of a scam. There is no British Global Online Lottery or any other form of lottery you can win without buying a ticket. There exists a certain form of immoral degenerate that trolls the internet searching for suckers who believe that they have gotten very lucky and won a lottery which they have never entered. They will probably entice you to send an advance fee to claim your non-existant winnings and if you do send this money, you can kiss it goodbye. The money will likely be en-route to Nigeria, a cesspool of fraud that has been the center of these types of fraud over the last few decades. The best thing to do is to delete such emails immediately and to never reply to them. In some cases, people who travel to claim their winnings are taken hostage, and in worse-case scenarios are killed when whoever is paying ransom payments exhausts their money supply. If anything online sounds to good to be true it always is buddy. But this is simply advance fee fraud (a prevalent type of fraud which continously asks for money to cover unforseen expenses) and is intended to drain your bank account, promising money that simply does not exist. Hopefully, this answers your question.

If you have any more questions, do a yahoo search on lottery scams, nigeria 419 scams, internet fraud, or advance fee fraud.

No one has ever won a lottery that they did not enter. They are all scams. You never have to pay something to get winnings since they could always take it out of the winnings. I have won a lottery every few days this year. I would be a billionaire if everything I have received was true.

DEFINITE SCAM!!!!! Don't do it...anything asking for money up front isn't trustworthy.

There have been warnings about this type of thing in the news often. I have received the same thing before and if you talk to others they probably have too. Why would so many of us all of a sudden be winners????

Yep! This is a scam. I have gotten those mailings also. I delete them ASAP! As others have said, if you haven't entered how could you win? Don't send a dime & delete any & all messages from them or any one else that offers you a pie in the sky! Also, don't provide them with any personal information!

This scam is so old. How could anyone fall for it? Did you ENTER this lottery? No, then you didn't win it. Likewise, no real lottery needs you to put up money to collect your winnings. 100% total scam to anyone who can see straight.
