Bf gave me a black eye?
we were big time fighting.. the cops were knocking on the door..i dont rly remember what happened but my bf smacked me in the face 3 times
i knw i hit him sometimes and i was acting crazy because im scared of the cops but im 5'3 97 lbs and i was just wondering if its ever okay for a guy to do that?

It is never okay for a person to hit another person. If you can't settle your differences in a civil way then you need to do something drastic about your relationship. Anger management courses might help or maybe it is time for a temporary reprieve from each-other.

IT IS NEVER EVER OK FOR A MAN TO HIT A WOMAN OR A WOMAN TO HIT A MAN. I dont know why you are afraid of cops. Most cops are there for you and are good cops. WHATEVER you do, STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Its strange that I am just now reading this. I just got off the phone with my 21 year old daughter who is in Arizona visiting her boyfriend who is in the National Guard and she was just telling me, he got drunk last night and hit her. Come to find out hes done this several times and always when hes drinking. I am gonna tell you like I told her "get the H*** away from that man"". It is NEVER ok for a man to hit a woman. I have had males friends when this subject comes up and they will ask me, well what if she is hitting on me. Most men are alot stronger than a woman, push her away and leave. Do not stand for it. If you are a Woman and you allow it hes gonna keep doing it.. Get the H*** away from this guy Now!!

No, it is never okay for a guy to do that. You need to get out of that relationship right now. Next time you could end up in the hospital with life threatening injuries or worse, in your coffin. Don't let him tell you it won't happen again. Don't fall for his apologies and promises. If you do everything will be okay for a little while and then it will start all over again. Keeps going in a circle.

No it's never okay for any guy to hit a girl and especially in the face. Last week at school my friend dumped her boyfriend for hitting her in the face. My advice break up with him as soon as possible, this is serieous hitting and violence leads to other things and you don't deserve that no person deserves to be smacked in the face and especially by their lover and no offense,but people who love each other don't show it through it hitting.

NO, this is NOT OK, I don't mean to be insensitive here but it appears as though you both have problems. First off if you hit him then you are just as much at fault as he was. . .and you should take a look at yourself to see what caused you to behave this way. Secondly were he behaving as a man should he would have not responded by hitting you. If violence is the only way the two of you can resolve your problems, you should consider calling the relationship off and seek counseling until the two of you can learn to resolve your disputes in a rational manner.

Who threw the first punch? Because you mention that you are scared of the cops...did you throw the first punch? If you did, then you need to understand that when you hit someone first, expect a hit back, not that either one of you is right but people do have to defend themselves when someone is going crazy

no it is never okay for a guy to hit you. Get out of the relationship before he begins to do it regularly other wise you could end up in a lot of stress and worrying all the time

Here is what you should do:
First of All-LEAVE HIM!! Then you can file for a restraining order. And then dont be scared of the cops because they only want you to be safe. And last of all if you live with him-MOVE OUT!! or find somewhere else to live because who knows when else he might git you.

no i dont think its ever ok to hit a woman, but you must understand if u are hitting him a mans first reaction when being hit is to hit back so be careful with your hits......my sister was in a similar situation and the best thing to do is to get out and find someone who will respect you and not lay their hands on you b/c if they hit you once, there will be another situation in life that they will do it again....
