Go to windows internet explore,, it explains it very well.It's called the "silent killer", cuz most people don't realize they have it til they have difficulties with kidneys, heart etc. anything over 140/90 mmHg is considered high. The heart has to pump extra hard with each beat against arterial walls to circulate the blood.

Blood pressure is how hard you heart has to work to move your blood through your body. If your blood pressure is high, your heart has to work too hard to move your blood. Your veins and arteries are clogged or not as elastic so the blood can't move as well.
