Actually they fly better on earth than on the moon. For some reason, the flapping of their little bitty wings are so much more efficient here that they sometimes appear not to have wings.

My pigs prefer skydiving more than rooting in the ground, but it is hard to find anyone who will take them up in a plane when they want to fly.

Depends.
A slingshot works well in both places, but if you use a cannon on the moon you'll have trouble lighting the fuse.
