Why does it only have under 25 year olds on it?

the first series had all age groups I seem to remember, from grumpy old men to teens.

I think you are mixing up your shows. Castaway did have a good age demographic. This new show is in fact Shipwrecked on C4. Much softer and one for the youngsters.

Doesn't seem fair
probably makes better television
it's all down to the ratings these days
