My boyfriend of two and a half years and I broke up about 3 weeks ago. We have been through a lot in our relationship. I do believe that he loves me, and I'm not quite sure of all the reasons why we broke up. Anyway, we have a mutual friend who told him that I had a date. Our friend told me that he sounded like it really bothered him. He asked me about it and I told him it was true, and he sounded a little angry. So I asked if he was angry and he said no no not at all that he was just curious. Then he said "that's fine honey. I'm not mad at all. In truth I'm hanging out with Niki this weekend." Niki is a long time friend of his and I know that she isn't interested in him and I pretty positive he isn't interested in her. What does this all mean??? Advice, please!

it means you guys are playing a stupid little game. you guys were together for quite some time, so its normal for him to still see it a little bit unnatural for you to be going out already. especially if you didnt end on bad terms. also it could be that you're moving on faster than he is and that may bother him. but dont read too much into it cus it doesnt really mean much. you broke up, now move on.
