i am wanting to get a tattoo. i like him's emblem but i want to know if their is meaning behind it.

The heartagram, combining a heart and a pentagram, is supposed to symbolize the balance of life and death, love and hate, or even good and evil.

What Ville Valo had to say about the heartagram: “The heartagram stands for HIM as a band, as an entity. And for love metal in general.”

no, the heart thing is really based off of the satanic pentagram, which is an upside star, and instead of the points they curved it to form a heart. This probably doesn't make much sense, so heres a pic you should check, it's a pentagram

Oh, puh-leeze. I enjoy watching Bam and Kat as much as the next person, but getting a tattoo like theirs? LAAAAAAME!!!!

It's a heart-a-gram. Is that what you're talking about? Don Vito has a heartagram tattoo on his back.

But be original about these things.
