I have to like the man I shave in the morning, and if I lied, I couldn't! Measly things in this life are not worth lying for, because nothing is worth having to look at myself in the mirror in the morning, and NOT liking the man I see there! I wouldn't lie, to gain a mansion in Beverly Hills, CA! I like ME too much to lie!!

Pretending to love someone is a big lie. You are going to hurt someone else to get what you want? Is that your dream? Have some integrity and I am sure your dream will come if you work hard enough . Good Luck

You said it yourself, "your life's dream". Apparently, deep love isn't a part of that dream, so I say go for your dream. Love is love, and quantity of love is hard to define anyway. After all, how much love is there and how much would be enough? BUT - think twice if you know deep down this pretending will cause you and others problems down the road. Good luck.

It is better to wait and find real love rather than settle for anything else? In time perhaps you can have the dream and the love as well.

Absolutely not! In my opinion how I view, value and honour myself and my true feelings is more important. There are always other opertunities out there to live your lifes dream, you are the one that makes them happen.

Ask yourself

Will you be able to live with yourself?
Today?
Tommorow?
Ten years from now?
On your Death Bed?

It's not worth it to live a lie and call it your dream.
