I am a healthy 47 year old Florida woman. I am 5'9" and weigh 150lbs. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. No kids. I eat healthy and take care of myself. I am financially secure and self employed. Everyone tells me I look 10 years younger than I am. I probably act younger since I never had children and I am a child at heart! Kids love me! When I was younger I was stunning and turned heads everywhere I went. That doesn't happen any more. Am I just old? How old is old? Why do I feel so ugly now?

you are as old as you feel. you seem to have a good head on your sholder, you look good, you dont do drugs. You are not ugly by any means. you dont need a bunch of guys doing a double take at ya to make you feel young and pretty, you already know you are.

First of all most women 40 and over are very beautiful if they take good care of themselves. You have had fun in your life and have worked hard to succeed in what you do. Age can be slowed down but it still comes to all of us. Old is when you start to think you are old. You are still attractive but even cosmetics and surgery can not stop the clock indefinitely. You are getting older but you are not old. Fame of turning heads never lasts forever either. There are younger women and they are turning heads too. Your time has come and it is waining away. It is a fact of life but you have one thing, most women dont' have and that is you are still beautiful and you are financially secure. So you traded your youth for wealth and comfort. Time just moves on and now you are at a cross roads as you are more closer to 65 then you thought a year ago. Who is it you are going ot spend the rest of your life with, and you have not children because you wanted to stay young and youthful for long time. You may not have anyone to share your growing old together with. Old is in the mind. You are not ugly but you are not a spring chicken. It is not bad it is just life. I know... I am 56 myself and my life has been much your yours... I accept the time value and move on with my life; I hope you can accept the fact of time and life. only if you want to date a 30 year old. Otherwise, any 45+ man would find you irresistible. I am 40 and I always notice how older man check me out all the time. If you are fit like u say, u probably got 10 really good years ahead of you.
I think old is 75-90

Because you have nothing to show for your life. No kids, I'm guessing no husband. You're life is over. Sorry to say that, but, what do you have to show for it??? Who cares if kids love you, do you have any of your own to show off and be proud of?? I have three boys, and I still turn heads at the store, or at a concert. And I'm 37. I feel kinda sorry for you for being so vain, and not having a life to look back on when you're dying. I'm glad I chose the route I chose.
Maybe you'll figure it out in your next life.

There is precious little more stunning than a woman your age who is accomplished, comfortable with her age, and fit. Your youthful beauty may be gone, but there is something to be said for beauty that comes as we mature. Would you really want to be 25 again?
As an aside, men experience this, albeit to a lesser degree because society emphasizes youthful beauty for women more than men. Relax, you are beautiful I am certain.

your not old your just beginning to live,life begins at 40.you sound great,kid are lucky to have a friend like you, child at heart is a great way to be and to enjoy life. as for turning heads, i bet you still do only most men(jerks) to day look for the younger generation 20's (foolish). enjoy life,you have a lot to enjoy.

I have seen some beautiful women at that age and im sure you are one of them.
At the end of the day its how old you feel, and judging by what you have said your definately younger than 47!

As with fine wine, women just keep getting better. I find older women have more sexuality and confidence. They know what they want and tend to go after it. The young boys may not turn their heads, but do you want a boy or a man that will love and respect you for who and what you are? I am sure that many a "man" turns his head, we have just learned to do it a little more nonchalant and with class.

Your not ugly, just unsure. I will be down in Florida in Febuary then in March, If you are interested and nearby maybe we can meet at a public place and I can tell you you dont look old.
