The system should do it by itself. You may need to bleed some air off the top of the tank if it does not have an auto bleeder. Look for a small stem on top of the bypass valve. If it has one just loosen the cap until the air purges and water comes out.

The system will do it just find. On the other hand, if you NEED somethig to do, you can pour a little in but it's not necessary at all.
