with your limited information i will tell you it is one of a couple things, bad start capacitor, bad start winding in the pump, or pump locked up.Call a well pump installation company they can fix you up.

what do you mean "tries"? do the points click on but pump wont run? if so it may have lived it's life. you IM me to get to the heart of the matter if ya want

Low voltage (unlikely), bad start capacitor, or new pump time.

check the pump motor first. i bet its shot

chk for voltage at pressure switch. if voltage there then pump time if no voltage then chk power from fuse box
