I know babies copy everything they see around them,if you do something they in return will copy that.But this was something i didnt want my oldest daughter (2years) to copy. I laugh about it now but thought it was really crazy then. I was cooking when her father came up and kissed me, nothing big and that was it. she's seen us kiss before and one day while we sat watching tv, she was off to the side and out of the corner or my eye i saw her kissing one of her bears. i laughed and asked him to look too, she wasn't paying us any mind and as we watched she jumped on her bear and said "yeah" my eyes poped open and we went quite. from then on we've been only kissed when she's not looking and its something i've put off asking about but its something she'll forget or was i over reacting. like i said, i laugh about it now but wow was that odd.

Nothing to worry if this is just a toy stuff or her bears, nothing malicious in her mind, more she find comfort seeing her parents showing love. I agree with cssnowmiss, we adults think and over react on stuffs..
I think your baby is cute, if she is mine, I will hug and kiss her for being sweet.
as you mentioned, when she saw you both kissing, it was not a big thing,,,so for her at age 2, she does not know what is big and no big deal yet. for kissing a bear. If she sees one of you drinking beer and she drinks it, she will know it is not good to drink because of the taste,,but what she drinks, she has no idea if this will make her drunk.

You were overreacting. A child that age doesn't understand the concept behind that particular situation. Therefore he/she is not having the same thoughts we as adults have.

i think she saw more than you two kissing i think you should try to get her ocupied in something like school better early then never i'd hate to see her in twenty years or maybe 16.
