Yes!! S&H green stamps. I remember my tongue going dry from licking them n sticking them to the books! lol. Then we'd go to the store that was just for redeeming the books for merchandise... Fun!
Thanx for that memory, I had forgotten about that!

I do. S&H green stamps, and top value stamps also. They had actual stores that you went to & traded the books of stamps for merchandise.
That has been a lot of years ago, If you can remember that you must be at least as ancient as I am!

My grandma used to save green stamps. I remember they had the S&H green stamp store where you could go pick out your stuff. She still has a lot of the stuff she bought with her stamps.
I kinda wish they still had those. It was fun to help grandma put them in the books, and then I always got to go with her to pick out her stuff. It sounds kinda corny, but I really have good memories from that.

As a child of the 60's & early 70's... yep, I remember the S&H Green Stamps... we used to get them for buying groceries at the market and gas at the Esso station (now called Exxon here in the states)... The best thing we ever got for them was a small tent... and we picked it up at a Green Stamp redemption center !

Yes, I remember some kind of stamps that you had to lick and put in a book. You filled the books up and got things for them.. It's vague but I remember it.

I used to save green stamps! I got a bunch of neat stuff from them like lamps and throw rugs and a bathroom scale.

yes in the 70s you get them at gas station
then turn them in for at kind of thing like tools
