it depends on if she has had children before. woman who have never had kids wont show until later in the pregnancy. i didnt start showing until about 17 weeks. but a woman who has had a kid before, her body already knows how to adjust to the changes and will grow much sooner.

As its a class project here is an answer that gives you more than just a yes or no. For the first 12 weeks the uterus (womb) is a pelvic organ and so the tummy really doesnt grow significantly. However after 12 weeks the uterus becomes an abdominal organ also as well as a pelvic organ. In a normal pregnancy the uterus grows by 1cm a week upwards. So as a rule of thumb at 16 weeks the top of the uterus (called the fundus) is halfway between the top of the pelvis and tummy button. At 20 weeks it is level with the tummy button. So for example if a woman is 28 weeks pregnant the fundus should be about 8cms above the tummy button. Good luck with the project.

depends on how small the woman is. But most women dont start showing until 2-3 months or so! but it mainly depends on the size of the person, and how fast the baby is growing.
