My husband and I were married when I was 6 weeks prego and we went on my honeymoon. My doc never said not to have sex but what do you think we were gonna do anyways. It was our honeymoon. We had sex everynight for 3 nights and the last night I started spotting. I called the doc as soon as we got home and he said that since you are prego you are making twice as much blood. ( your blood and babies blood) There are tiny little blood vessels that run through your cervix and they are inflamed right now because of you making all that extra blood and your partner hits them when you have sex. The tinier blood vessels pop and that is your spotting. I also asked a girl at work about it and she said she had 2 kids and spotted the whole 9 months with both of them. The doc just told us to be careful when we have sex. All that hard core stuff has to take a pause until the baby is born. Congrats by the way and you'll be fine.

Yes, it's perfectly normal. The mucus layer in your vagina is more sensitive while pregnant and when you have sex the friction can more easily break that skin. Don't be so concerned unless you have cramping and the spotting happens randomly without being triggered by sex. Or unless the spotting is very heavy and has clots in it. I had the same thing when I was about 8 weeks pregnant, I'm now 28 weeks and everything is going well. Don't worry too much!

I had a similar subject ensue at 6 weeks pregnant, different than I handed a clot besides it is what scared me the main. I went to the ER and each thing grew to become into fantastic. i grew to become into advised that that's usual for gentle recognizing, extraordinarily brown via fact this is previous blood. the only want for difficulty could be in case you have astounding purple heavy bleeding. sturdy success.

I have that and im 8 wks. Yes it is but if it hurts or you start crampin and bleeding allot go to your er. My doc told me to not have sex till i was over 14wks cuz i had a previous miscarriage befor but it was not from sex. So if your worried don't have sex till you see a doc. If you have a health dep go to them or try and get on medicade now it takes a month to get everything done but it's good to have. congradulations by the way

Any time you're "spotting" you should call your ob/gyn.
