Ironically, self-confidence (or better yet, self-esteem) is what allows you to understand that it's not all about you.

Accepting the fact that it is not all about you anymore is a sign of maturity. This should boost, not hinder, your self-confidence. 'Me, me, me' is an insecure, immature adolescent
