Just cos you a liberal don't mean you can't be pragmatic. If republicans are trying to get the moral high ground you must be desperate.

OK, there are a lot of assumptions in your question that are not necessarily factual. First of all, you don't know why Hillary stuck with him. You assume it was because of power, but you don't know that.
Secondly, I don't consider it "playing the victim role" if you are in a marriage, your spouse has flaws, but you stay in the marriage to try to make it work, especially if you have children. ALL spouses have flaws and weaknesses, and it is contrary to family values to immediately run out of the marriage instead of trying to work things out. And if you had a spouse, I don't think you would want him or her to break up with you every time you screwed up. Whatever happened to "Stand by Your Man"?
Thirdly, there are independent women, both liberal and conservative, who are not married, but that doesn't necessarily mean "they have no need for a man" or that men "can't be trusted." It may mean they haven't met the right person, they like living alone, they've become wrapped up in their careers--or any number of other things.
It seems to me you have a bias and are simply trying to get people to disagree with you or trap so-called liberals into arguing with you. Try harder next time to come up with an actual question that people can debate or answer honestly.

I'm conservative and hate Hillary's politics, but...I've never seen her as a victim type. More a "you can have him if you can stand him" type. I thought her conduct during the Monica thing was outstanding.
I don't believe BJ Billy achieved all that power by himself-I think she had a hand in it and is sticking around to get her share, that's all.

That's a pretty good point.
It is impossible for me to know the specifics inside their marriage. But it does appear that Hillary has stayed with Bill, in large part, to maintain and strengthen her political clout.
This image of Hillary does seem to run contra to her image as an independent feminist.
Of course, she maintains her feminist credibility through her words and her demeanor.

Well, should I thank you for posing such a stupid question, or should I take the time to to really rattle your cage by reviewing all of the disgusting immoral conduct of the past and present republican party?
I think I just did both, and thanks for the 2 points.
Bush is a closet alcoholic homosexual!
