We just bought a dwarf hamster yesterday. Right now he is no bigger than a half dollar. How big will he get?

He sounds about 2-3 months tops already, good age to get them at. We have Campbell's Russians, 10 of them and they very from 2' long to 4" long. Our males are quite robust and grew bigger then even their fathers did. Our biggest is between 4 1/2" and 5" long with a muscular chest. We feed ours a hand selected special blend of food and use treats. We also give our Dwarfs a cricket (pet store bought only) each once or twice a month, they love them. Syrians don't however. I have a dwarf hamster too! I love him. He's so cute. He's full grown now but he still fits in the palm of my hand! He wont get to big. Your baby will always fit in the smallest balls they sell! Good luck with your hamster!
