Harry Potter is the best. I get all into those books, that I have a hard time putting them down. I can't wait for the next book to come out, even though it is going to be the last one. :(
I love the Harry Potter movies too.

I LOVE the Harry Potter series and have read all of the books. I also read Eragon. From my opinion Harry Potter is more exciting and makes you wanna just sit there and keep on reading. I agree with you about the characters to. Eragon to me was also boring and hard to get into.

Read both Harry Potter and Eragon. I prefer Harry Potter, cos Eragon has too much detail compared to Harry Potter, in the earlier books at least.

I would have to say Harry Potter(movie) is better cause its more like the book, and Eragon isn't, Eragon (movie) takes out alot of the great parts of the book out. Eragon (Books/Series) is better than the Harry Potter books (Series)

i don't really like either of them but if i had to choose i like harry potter better. i also think that the harry potter movies are so much better and the eragon movie was just to long and they didn't space it too well. i also think that they could have had a better cast for such a popular book. my favorite fantasy books and movie is the series of unfortunate events

The Eragon movie was so unlike the book that I got mad. At least the Harry Potter movies are like the books.

That's a tuff one...they both have special things about them that i treasure...mmmmmmmmm....I guess i'd have to say that the Harry Potter movies are bettter than Eragon(the movie), but the Eragon books are better than the Harry Potter books.

harry potter all the way!!! i love all the books and all the movies, and the fifth movie is coming out on july 13!!!
i have never read eragon, nor seen the movie, and my friends who saw the movie said it wasn't that good.
