Loreal Panoramic Curl Mascara is my favorite. For one, it's cheap and can be bought pretty much anywhere. 2, you don't have to use a lash curler with it 3, it does even more than it claims to, it seperates, curls, volumizes, lengthens, etc.
Personally, I would always go with a cheaper mascara rather than a $20 one because even if the more expensive one is better if you don't use it fast enough it will dry out before it's gone so in the long run a cheaper one can also be replaced as soon as it gets to a consistency that you don't like.

Dior Show is good mascara, but the little stopper kept coming off of the bottle, so I would get what looked like a paintbrush. This happened with three bottles, and if I'm paying 20 bucks for mascara, I don't want any malfunctions. The covergirl lash exact is actually the best I've ever used, and I'm a serial mascara user. I buy a new one every time I see a new commercial. There are literally no clumps, and I usually get clumps with every brand, even the expensive ones.

Here's my top 3. I GUARANTEE they are amazing.
1. Supernova by Fresh (Just beautiful! And it contains NO alcohol so your lashes won't get dried out or damaged, they stay conditioned and fresh)
2. Diorshow by Dior (Huge lashes)
3. Badgal Lash by Benefit (Not waterproof, might smudge easy)
All are available at most department stores, or for sure at Sephora...

Neutrogena Clean Tint. It is safe for contact lense users, and it gives your lashes a darker look, no clumps, no smudges, just a tint. It works really well, and is very simple.

Estee Lauder - they have several types - pick the one that suits you best... expensive - but worth it.
