I think many of us have done that. You do have to be careful not to over-do it though. Helium has no Oxygen in it, obviously, and you can suffocate to the point of passing out or even stop breathing. And you know what happens after you stop breathing, you die.
That's why people have died while screwing w/ Nitrous-Oxide (laughing gas) - They take too big a hit and then they are down for the count!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband did at a wedding reception and then did The Crazy Frog! It was really funny at the time as we were all very drunk, but watching it back on the video he's now quite embarrassed.
