Heya, college girl here. I met Keisha this past September, and she's like one of my closest girlfriends here. (I'm Chinese, by the way). Over Christmas break, I went back to Hong Kong to see family. Keisha has never been to Asia before, and she came with me there, and we hung out for 10 days/night (I stayed longer). I feel like we've become even closer friends. But not that we're back on campus, it's like Hong Kong never happened. It's like back to early December, her behaviour, her personality, you know what i mean? What's your take on this?

Unfortunately I believe your friend is uncaring, ungrateful, and feels that she's entitled to take whatever someone gives her. I think you just happen to meet someone who is not as giving , and caring as you are. That's so unfortunate and I hope this doesn't make you weary of people and friendship in the United States. You went above and beyond in this friendship, and she got an education and a wonderful experience from you, however she is uncompassionate and cold and isn't as warm&caring as you are. To be very honest with you, it all boils down to one thing---she's of poor quality or bad character, what ever you want to call it. Remember you were a true and giving friend and she wasn't. What goes around comes around!

She might be jealous of your family ties, upbringing, or found out things about you she doesn't like. Whatever the reason, she sounds immature & not worth your time. Get better friends & forget her.
