Typically, in a GPA, the grade is already determined so numerical score doesn't matter, as well as plusses or minuses.

I'm not sure why this is under the geography section, but anyway, GPA is calculated by giving numerical values to each grade. An A=4, B=3, and so on to F, which equals 0. To calculate GPA, you add those up and divide by the number of grades. So three A's is 12 (4+4+4), three B's is 9 (3+3+3), for a sum of 21. Since you have six grades, you do 21/6, which equals a GPA of 3.5. If you have weighted class like AP or honors classes, they are worth one point higher, so an honors A=5, an honors B=4, etc, and the process is exactly the same.

if they are worth the same amount of credits then you have a 3.875 gpa
