My coworker pointed this out to me. If you go on many of the candidates' websites, their platforms are on the front page. Nearly all candidates have these so potential voters know if they are the right politician for them. However, Senator Obama does not yet have his platform listed. I think the reason might be because enough people know who he is already and he doesn't need to spill out his views. That is, if people know his platform, it would hurt him more than help him because some of his current supporters would not agree with his platform. What do you think?

I dont think that's his reason at all, because Hillary Clinton has her plan on her website, and EVERYONE knows her. I think his logic is "sometimes last is best". People can judge the others and he will know what to say, and not say by sitting back and watching.

Senator Barack Obama has not announced his candidacy for the Presidency yet. He has formed an exploratory committee, meaning he has started fund raising and looking into what the nation needs/wants, etc. But, until he announces whether he will run for the democratic bid (Feb. 30th) there is no reason to be concerned about his platform. If you want to see how he has voted during his term as a Senator, you can look it up easily on the web. Also, on the Washington Posts coverage of the '08 election, if you go to Obama's profile page, you can view articles about him that were published in the Post.

His platform will be better defined than was Kerrys platform. Still, I vote likely vote republican most likely because the democrats pick someone too liberal-elite, or someone too populist. Obama would be better suited to take on Republicans in board swaths of land before the San Fran, New York areas. Ohama will not spell out platform probadly because he wants to talk to the people to get views instead of getting views from lobbying firms like Hillary will. Hillary is not a good choice for the democrats because it she wins the nomination the odds of republican taking the whitehouse increased 5 to 10% because Clinton dirt is easiest to find more than Kerry, or Gore lol.

In all objectivity, i imagine very almost each and every flesh presser cares for the facade. evaluate the Republican Taliban, which featured the likes of waiting Rick Santorum, who camped out at Terri Shiavo's bedside, each and every of the at the same time as espousing the lack of existence penalty, a bogus "conflict" in Iraq, and so on. Or Mark Foley, whose predilection for male interns at the same time as espousing the want for harder predatory regulations become honestly an thrilling juxtaposition... it really works both strategies, right here, you spot.

His two years as a Senator have been spent voting along partylines. His time as an Illinois legislator was equally spent voting along party lines and supporting a neo-lib agenda.
