On Thursday, Jan. 25th I got a call from the school nurse tell me Nadia had recieved a "small bump" , Nadia was told Douglas the whole story when they got home.

3 boys , One holding her down "in the handcuff game" and one kneeing her and one threatening to rip her heart out, while yet 2 more boys egged them on and didn;t go for help.

And where was the teacher you ask?? on the bench talking to another teacher, while my child was being held down on her stomache, face in the dirt.

This happened at what is SUPPOSED to be one of the best schools around here. I am ASHAMED to have my child go to Riverchase Elementary.

NOTHING happened to the boys that did this. THEY GOT PUT IN THE THINK TANK, AND TOLD THIS WAS INAPPROPRIATE PLAY BEHAVIOUR.
i took her to the er, and they made pictures, and called the police. dhr was called. it was written up as assault 3.
teacher blew me off and said it was a game they'd been playing. This is a school system known for is show Two- A-Days show.

keep up everything, dont give up ur fight, even if it takes years-which it shouldn't because if it was their daughter, they know good n well, that they would want their justice, for her. thats not right, and shouldn't be allowed under no circumstances. whatever you do, dont give up, and make sure something happens, if the boys are old enough to know better, then they are old enough to be punished

I would definitely be pushing this issue until I got some resolution here. That's a terrible thing and the teachers in charge should be held accountable. It may be help full to get with a lawyer on this to.
See, this is just one more reason that I like living in a small town. The quality of education is better then what you find in the larger cities. Everything is just better.

I understand your frustration. My own son has been bullied on playgrounds that are woefully under staffed. Playground stuff is particularly hard to keep an effective eye on, but in your case, you would have to believe that several boys holding down a girl would catch someone's notice.

It really doesn't matter how good a school system is...if its kids are cretins...then there will be these sorts of issues.

This isn't a question is it? It is a statement to the world. I don't have kids but some of this awful stuff happens in school. i had a bad experience in 1st grade that happened almost 50 years ago. it also invoved boys. Get a grip - change schools or sue

They are trying to down-play the seriousness of this incident in hopes you will do nothing further.

Continue to pursue the resolution with them, get a lawyer, and harass them until you get satisfaction.

This should not happen to anyone's daughter. You should pay close attention to your daughter's behavior and mental state for several months. Any change in behavior, etc., should be addressed with a psychiatrist to determine if treatment is needed.

get 2 of your buddies and go and play the game with the teacher involved and see if you survive without being charged with assault! What happened to tour daughter could affect her for the rest of her life and the school was responsible for her welfare at the time .....SUE there sorry ***

What did your daughter do to provoke such an attack?

Something tells me there is a lot more to this story than what is being told.
