i have neopets and sometimes i don't want to keep one. i know they aren't real but i can't stand to not feed them so they will die, it makes me feel like i'm not taking care of a real animal. is there away and how do i do it if posible?

Oh my god, I know what you mean. I am really tired of earning points to feed them and constantly checking in everyday. Why do we do this?? They are not real! I tried to put mine up for adoption at the neopet adoption page but it was kinda sad too and I chickened out. Go and see what I mean.

the only way to delete a neopet is to give him up for adoption. To do this, all you have to do is go to either pet central where there should be an advertisement link to the pound, or in the Neopian central market, and once you enter, click on the guy by the sign saying "abandon pet." you sometimes might have to pay a little but there is no other way besides not feeding your pet

i haven't been there in a while, but if memory serves, i don't think you can delete one. if you want to get rid of it, just go to the neopets adoption center and abandon it. also, i think you get an avatar if you do that, but it's been a long time.

yes it costs neopoints but you can give it out to be adopted. but neopets don't die i havn't feed mine in a yr or so

You can abandon it at the pound (you need to pay NP to do so). Just go to the pound, click on the abandon desk, and pick which pet you want to leave.

you can't delete them, but you CAN leave them at the pound. this costs some money from what i remember. (i dont play anymore)
you give your pet to the lizard-looking guy. it prompts you to turn back like ten or so times...-_-;; well theres a way :P
