Luck is nothing more than a term use to describe ones state of readiness when an opportunity or adversity presents itself.
It is also subject to interpretation. For example.
Two men are sitting nera the street when a high speed police chase comes flying by, man one goes home and tells his wife about how lucky he was that he didn't get hit by this car, man two goes home and tells his wife how unlucky he is that he did not have his camera.

if youre talking about superstitions, some include walking under a ladder, letting a black cat cross your path, stepping on cracks on the sidewalk, breaking a mirror, friday the 13th, opening an umbrella in the house, a bird coming in your house, waking up on the opposite side of the bed that you fell asleep on, wearing the wrong birthstone...these are all superstitions that supposedly bring bad luck

the way you think will give bad luck, if,you think you are going to fail or lose or not be able to suceed,it will happen, being positive and have the right actitude is what matters you mind, is a powerful tool and having a positive mind is part of the luck (born loser)

there is no such thing as luck. or love either. it comes down to energy. plus & negative. plus some common sense. the ladder thing is just sheer stupidity. along with the salt oner the should. come on folks lets use a little brain work here!
