I know of a restaurant like that in Cerritos off the 605fwy on South Street, it's next to an Ethan Allen Store.
It's an Asian buffet. You get seated at your table, the waitress lights up your grill which is in the middle of the table. You go to the buffet to pick your sides like rice, salads, and stuff and your meat too. You grill the meat at the table.

On PCH between Long Beach and Santa Monica?!? Freddie, you're asking us to cover a lot of real estate there! Can you be more specific of the area? For instance, Harbor area (San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City, Lomita)? Or South Bay (Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo)? LAX area? Or Beach cities (Marina Del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica)?

If you can narrow down the area, we all might be able to help you a little better. There are several restaurants like you described in the LA area!

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of restaurants on that stretch. Unless you are talking about Western food (and I don't know what type of restaurant that would be), you need to look for either a teppan-yaki restaurant or a Korean barbecue restaurant fr that.

Yeah, that is a lot of land to cover. And with the type of restaurant you're referring to, a lot of those can be found within the bounderies of the places you specified. So, you may need to be more specific. I do know of one, in Torrance, called Koji (Korean BBQ), and the one Papa Rickster is referring to, I know that one also.

You may need to be more specific.

What you are describing is at most Japanese and Korean Barbeque restaurants. GyuKaku has sevreal locations throughout the southland and has very good food, but I don't think there's one on PCH.

Benni Hana?? It's near the 3rd street promenade.

I might have spelled Benni Hana wrong though.
