I think that it is true that women look at themselves subjectively whether in the mirror or in a picture. Rarely have I looked at a picture of myself that I didn't see a flaw or imperfection. I have a friend that says I look good in browns, but I disagree; she likes brown, I don't. I have one good photo taken in a glamour shots studio, perfect hair and makeup, perfect lighting....but not my true appearance.

I believ the mirror gives you a more accurate perception of yourself because in a camera you cant see every little nick and cranny such as the bump on your forehead etc.

A photo would show you how the world sees you. A mirror does a pretty good job.

The camera makes you look bigger. If the mirror is just your average everday mirror its telling you the truth. Just stay away from funhouse mirrors.

Is someone preoccupied with how she looks? Gosh! Look in the mirror and move on, girl! relax.

the camera can make you look a little bit bigger, but that depends on the lighting and the way your body is positioned
