Actually, ALL men's ears do, but some are more noticeable.
Your ears & nose are the only body parts that keep growing throughout your whole life.
Thats why very old men always have big noses and ears!

Because when you get older the probability is your eyesight will deteriorate, and you will have to wear glasses, AND what holds glasses onto your face---- correct, your nose and ears, SO nature compensates and gives you a larger holding area. (probably) P.S. This is a new theory on ear/nose growth, the weaker your eyesight the more your nose and ears grow. (allegedly)

Ears get bigger because they simply need to. Hearing is one of the senses which fails with age, the other major one is sight; our eyes cannot grow as they have a boundary made of bone. Ears, however, are able to continue to grow, and the effect of this is improved amplification of sound, but this is limited.

Your nose and ears are the only things that keep growing your whole life. Possibly they are stretching? By the way, it is not just men, it is women too.

because if their 'misters' kept growing they would look they have three legs. Just kidding, ears, noses and hair continues to grow throughout life although I am not sure why it is so noticable in men and not so much in women.
