No. Islam is controlled by the Islamic bible called the Koran. Radical Islamists force people to strictly obey the Koran or face penalty of death to all who don't obey. The Koran IS their govt. It's worse than Chinese communism under Mao.

Of course not. No religion is compatible with a democracy. The founding fathers were smart enough to realize that and created the first amendment.

I don't see why not. Our own country was founded upon Puritan beliefs - there is room for religion in a democracy.
Whether the government is based on a secular or a religious belief, there are certain things common to both. For example, murder - regardless of religious affiliation (or lack thereof) is wrong and punishable, as are things like rape, etc. These things are inherent in all political systems.
In short, yes, Islam, like any other religion, is more than compatible with democracy. Look to nations like Egypt and Jordan, which have more than proven this.

I think that would depend on how the "Islamic Law" given in the Koran is factored into the laws formulated and enforced by the "Democracy"

Absolutely not. The Islamic belief system is totally undemocratic in itself. Islamic countries are governed only by quran ppl dont make the rules/laws there.

No. Forcing someone to convert to your religion or die does not fit in with Democracy.
