Was Paul London Injured at the 2005 royal rumble?

I rember paul london gettin really badly clothslinde by Snitsky and getting carried off the ring in a strecher how badly was he hurt and wad it serious?

He got a bad concussion, his head bounced off of the rubber mat covering the floor, and the rubber saved his life. The medics said that if the floor covering wasn't there, he'd be dead.
