It's called peristalsis, the contraction of the muscles in your esophogus that forces food down into your stomach - even when you're upside down.

When you get to college, ask a frat boy for a demonstration. They call it a keg stand. The same process is used for drinking and eating upside down. The muscles in your throat force it 'down' into your stomach through a rippling, wave-type effect, called peristalsis. If you try to swallow a pill without water and it sticks, you can feel the muscles moving across it when you try to swallow.
Just don't forget that, if you try a demonstration, gravity applies to anything not in your throat, so if the water (or whetver else) runs out of your mouth, it will go right down--as in up your nose.

I have not tried that like on a plate with a fork and knife with the crust area up even though it will be good. What I have achieved is fold it in 0.5 so as that it is form of a taco with each and every of the fillings interior and the crust displaying. that is very prevalent with ny type pizza and it tastes good. I positioned pepper on cottage cheese, tabasco on grilled cheese sandwiches, and all kinds of different wierd stuff and locate that others are more desirable curious and in all likelihood ask your self what it tastes like quite that wondering how wierd it is. Dare to be diverse and do not agonize about what others imagine.

I dont know what the process is called, but your esophagus does not use gravity, it has its own tissue that moves food down it into the stomach

You can, with difficulty. The process of swallowing the food is called peristalsis. Don't try it at home if your parents are watching.

yes because of peristolsis (sp?)
we dont swallow because of gravity but because of muscle contractions that push the food down our esophagus.
