120 pounds. Is that a lot for me?
I keep getting paranoid, telling myself that I'm soo fat. I'm getting soo paranoid. I don't know what to do. Am I fat for my age? ... I just keep thinkning, if I continue to eat like I do, little by little (because you know how everyone gains a little weight everytime you go for a checkup) I'm going to blow up like a balloon by the time 17.
What's wrong? ... Am I fat?
Will I blow up like a balloon when I get older?!

No no, you wont blow up when you get older.

There often reaches a certain point when you just don't weigh more than you do now. I'm about 5'4 and i weigh 110 pounds. I know plenty of pretty girls that are just as tall as I am and weigh anywhere from about 110-130 pounds. I weighed 110 pounds since about three years ago. I just don't put on any more pounds because I try my best to eat right and exercise daily or 3 times a week. It's great to start a routine when you're young. Join sport teams at school to boost self-confidence as well. Your weight shouldn't upset you, because maybe you keep telling yourself that you weigh a lot because you have a lot of fat. Perhaps its muscle, because muscle DOES weigh more than fat. You get what I'm trying to say? Don't be so paranoid, eat what you want to eat but limit yourself and eat more healthy stuff..

I am 30 and 6 feet tall and weigh 175. This is apparently the way I should look...when I was your age, I was way underweight because I thought that I should weigh less...tried the anorexia thing at 15 and off and on until I was 20. This is NOT healthy! Don't worry about your weight.

If you eat right (look at your food guide, depends on your country), excersize at least 3 times a week and feel good (awake when you get a good sleep, can walk up stairs with out getting winded, etc.) then you are healthy. You should never judge a body by how much it weighs. There are so many other factors and so many other things to consider.

Please talk to your doctor, check out the body mass index, and all of the other options. When you are 13 your body is just getting ready to be a woman, sound corny but you do have to put on weight to have a proper period and stuff (the breasts also add weight, each one weighs about 2 lbs when fully developed).

Just remeber to eat healthy and excersize. This will keep it under control. You will not gain a whole bunch of weight unless you are doing something wrong (like junk food all the time and sitting on your butt!)

:)

I don't think that sounds fat::: remember- a lot of that weight could be muscle.
Check with your school nurse or doctor @ next check-up and ask them if you should lose some weight and how much. (They'll give you an honest answer unlike parents//friends)
-Also maintain a steady diet, try not to eat before bed, try to eat less snacks between meals and if you do make them healthy
-Move more! Instead of walking to the kitchen RUN! Sit on a bouncy ball when you watch tv

I really don't think you are fat though! You sound the right weight. ^^^Those are just ideas to try and stay healthy. (I mean does your stomach hang over your jeans and can you see rolls through your clothes?) Even if you can you may just be like 2 pounds over.

GOOD LUCK!!!

No....you're not fat.......watch what you are eating. Don't eat a lot of crap food......fruits and veggies if you find yourself snacking a lot. Also, go for a walk.....it's great excercise and it will keep you from sitting there bored and eating for no reason.
Always ask yourself if you are really hungry or eating to fill a void or because you are bored.

Next time you go to the doctor's, ask him to see the height/weight chart....it will let you know your ideal weight for your height, and trust me sweetie, you're not fat.....I'm 5"2 and almost 120 and I can guarantee you I'm NOT fat.....muscle weighs more, so get out there and start playing some sports!!!!

First, don't be paranoid! But if you can honestly say that you eat too much junk, then fix your diet. I am 15 and very thin, but I was feeling crappy a while back because I had no energy, so I started eating more healthy. Like I ate a salad for a snack instead of cookies. I felt so much more energized and lost 5 pounds without trying! If you fix your diet and exercise more, you will feel much better about yourself in no time. Just, please, please don't go anorexic or anyhting!

I know several people who are your age and size, and they are very healthy. If you are eating right and exercising regularly, then I would say you are a good size. If you are paranoid, then talk to your doctor to see what you should do.
