This is not true, it can help you to relieve symptoms, such as congestion, due to its high capsicine levels, it also contains trace amounts of vitamin C (which does help colds), but unfortunately these amounts are so tiny that they're not useful at all.

it doesn't necessarily help colds. it just unblocks your nose and makes it runny again if you've got a stuffed up nose. that way you can blow out all the gross snot and get the germs outta your system faster.

It doesn't help the cold itself, but it's a pretty good decongestant.

im not sure but it could be like how horseradish opens up your sinuses or thats how my dad worded it. it unclogs your nose haha so maybe like that?

well hot curries unblock my nose so I guess they do help congestion
