I have my english exam on monday and i need to write an essay that is 4 pages long about the short story Scars (1978) by W.P. Kinsella...i need to know the theme of the short story and what literary devices were used (if possible, plese give me the line), also my teacher gave us a hint, she said "think about the characters"...what does she mean by that?....please help me, this is extremely urgent!!

Gah, why do people come on YA to get the answers to their school questions? Read the story, learn something, do your own work, or get a zero. That's how life is. If its so urgent then take care of it yourself instead of relying on total strangers!

The teacher wants YOU to write the essay and do the research behind it. We are not here to do YOUR work for you because you sat aorund on your lazy behind doing nothing (or watching TV or playing video games) until now. Try and engage your brain, though I know it is painful.

here's some advice. Read the story. Or skim through it and try to put suspense and mood to it somehow. Perhaps irony. Read about the characters and compair and contrast some of them. Use personafication.
