Her name was Mileva Einstein Maric, and some sources believe that either she wrote the paper or helped him write it:
There is more and more evidence that Mileva Einstein Maric (Einstein's wife) is the coauthor of "The Theory of Relativity". Recently published letter between Mileva Maric and Albert Einstein is shedding light on who is the author (s) of the "Theory of Relativity". Albert Einstein received the Nobel Prize in 1921. He gave all the money from the Nobel Prize to his wife - Mileva Maric- this was the condition for the divorce settlement. Einstein did not leave any documents which acknowledged the contribution of Mileva Maric to the Theory of Relativity.
In 1905, several articles bearing the name of Albert Einstein appeared in the Annalen der Physik - a Germans Physic Journal where the Theory of Relativity was published. The paper dealing with relativity was entitled Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Korper. Only Albert Einstein's name appeared in the journal as author. According to Abram Fedorovich Joffe the original paper was signed "Einstein-Marity". "Marity" is a variant of the Serbian "Maric", Mileva maiden name. Mileva Maric Einstein's name was left out when publication of the article took place. Joffe saw the original 1905 manuscript.
HOWEVER, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE FOR HER HAVING WRITTEN IT...IN FACT, THIS IS JUST A RUMOR...SEE SECOND SITE

that's putting it a little harshly, ans no she didn't write the theory of relativity however behind every successful man is the hand of a woman. she did help him with the theory and she should take half the credit but Einstein carried on working even after he left her. and he didn't Dump her it was their decision to split up which the made together.

According to the PBS special I watched about the two of them, they were partners in research, science and/or studies when they were young. She had one baby girl that nobody really knew what happened to her. Later they had other children. The impression I got was that collaborated with him but did not receive credit for her contributions.
Below are links. The first one is just the basics. The second one discusses the fact that there is now dispute about the accuracy of the PBS program.

Uh, no. That was a quaint little myth written up some years ago, but there is no evidence of it ever happening. Einstein performed innovative research up until the time of his death and most of it was under a lot of scrutiny. His wife may have been a great help to him and assisted him with his work, but he was the one who did it.

This is about as true as the story that Rosalind Franklin came up with the structure of DNA and Watson and Crick stole it from her. I have seen this story in a book for little girls, extolling feminine heroes. Feminist inspired, I suppose, but still a lie. Women have enough heroes of their own, so they do not need to manufacture this nonsense.

Einstein's wife supported him by allowing him the opportunity to spend time contemplating the universe.
She was an intellectual in her own right, but did not have the depth of imagination that he had.
She did review his work and make suggestions. So, she helped him in his quest, but certainly did not conjure up any of his concepts on her own.

You chicks are unbelievable, let me guess, she also got herself pregnant? Maybe she came up with the theory so she could go back in time and get him to sign a pre-nup first?

Her name was Mileva. Albert & Mileva had two children and he did indeed dump her for his lover. As to what role she played, if any, in his work, it's all speculation.
