my BF is making fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn frozen from his mom's garden while I ask and answer!

oooohhhh girl that there is some good stuff... i am being treated today as well mine is making steaks they have been marinating all day and mashed potatoes and well i think corn too. what a coincidence. it only happens once and a while for me so i enjoy the heck out of it!

yes, it does when we begin to live outside of ourselves and for reasons other than our OWN needs and pleasures ... when we give as well as take. Obviously you are a person who believes that being cared for by someone is as good as it can get, I myself prefer to stand on my own and am proud to know that I do not attach my personal happiness or "as good as it gets" to one other human being. Yes it is wonderful to be fullfilled socially and sexually and I get much pleasure and happiness from that myself but it will only get "as good as it gets" by MY devotion to furthering the betterment of others, if my lover were to stop cooking for me and even just being there I would be hurt and lonely for awhile however I am not dependent upon that person, I do NOT see that person as fullfilling my life completely or making it , as you descibe it "as good as it gets"... there is SO MUCH MORE that fills me up and completes me in my soul than one relationship, one meal or one moment

Mine mopped the floor this morning..... maybe something is in the water today or something. I didn't even have to ask....He mopped and then did the dishes!
