Can you use a calling card with no phone serveice on a cell phone? Because I want a cell phone, but I can't afford 50$ a month. Or do you know a cheap cell phone serveice in the USA like 15$ a month etc.?

Try Sonico Red card. Within USA the rate with local access and maintenance fee is 1 cent/min. No connection fee. Rechargeable. Pinless dialing.

Check on the pocket or cricket phone companies. They have a flat $25 a minute UNLImited minutes and NO contract. Now regions in the USA, are different prices. Also there may be other companies like this. But it is good for local usage, till they gradually expand the area coverage. Then for $37 you also get UNLIMITED TEXT, called ID, Unlimited internet access, call waiting, and one or two more features.

Check with your local area in what they have.

And no, You MUST have a cell phone connection to use a calling card, but then you would be using the cell phone minutes.

So cancel your home phone and get a cricket or pocket phone.
