One used to be able to chit-chat with strangers about the weather.

Now, this is very risky, due to vicious disputes over global warming.

Are there topics left that one can discuss without risk?

You can still talk about the weather, my friend.

Just say something likke: "wow, today is a bit chilly isn't it" or "wow, today weather is better that what I expected! did you see/hear the forcast last night?/ this morning?"

Just don't ask them what the think about the weather or that will just set some people off! lol!

No, and I'll tell you why. The banana warriors have sent spies to read all of your conversations, so if you say you like fruit, they'll destroy you with their advanced placement weapons. And since there was a snail who ruled a snail world and ended his reign of horror and miserable life by leaping off a sandcastle and flattening himself, you can't even complain about the snails in your garden or you'll have to deal with ME. Get it? But of course, in your case, dicussing the weather wouldn't be much of a problem, now would it? I recomend group therapy?

It's paranoid people like you that draw the whole world into an endless panic.
