Yes I know about this Herbalife. Many years ago. it's the same type of company as equinox, quixtar, amway. I lost major bucks in all of them, and friendships, because of trying to hard to get them interested. The products for Herbalife do not work. At least they didnt' for me and my relatives. I would stay away. I'm looking for a business to hopefully I'll find one. Good luck .

Herbalife is definately a legitimate company, but...there are a lot of buts. My first concern is the person who calls themself "online business". Many people who spin off from a parent company and form their own are indeed helpful, but I have known of some who use the parent company as a vehicle and manage to get some of your hard earned money. Be very careful there.
As many have already said, the large incomes with Herbalife were earned a long time ago. The product is good, but now there are better out there. They also have not updated their compensation plan because they experienced hyper-growth a long time ago where all the large incomes were made. That ship has sailed now.
If you are really looking into starting a home business with a reputable company, I would love to tell you more about mine.
What they have done is come up with a product that even though it has a great deal of competition, the competitors will never be able to beat this one because of it's scientific and medical validation. We have the patent pending on the processing of this so no worries about that.
This company has removed all the usual obstacles associated with network marketing, have a cutting edge compensation plan, all the tools are in place as well as the training for people to really earn a substantial income.

I too looked into this business. I wouldn't say it is exactly a scam, but you have to sell an awful lot before you see any profit. The time for making money with Herbalife was when it was new. The owners and the first to get into it made money. I know of no one who has made any real money from it, they are left with a bunch of merchandise. I even sent for the video and my husband and I watched it, and it looks good, but it didn't appeal to us as home business people. So we stayed away.
If you truly want to work online you need to decide if it is the products you want to sell, or do you want to be an affiliate for a company? If you want to promote the business then becoming an affiliate should not cost you any upfront money. Selling prodcuts online there are a few companies that allow you to sell products straight from them. They take care of shipping and handling. One such company is SFI. It has been around for a long time, and you can make money at it. I know of one gentlemen who has worked with this program for 5 years now and he is making $500,000 or more a year. And he is not even at the top.
My husband and I have been doing business online for two years and we make about $1200 extra a month from a variety of programs that we are involved with. Our website provides a wide range of business opportunities, resources and personal support. Scam free, no catch, no gimmicks; providing unique and profitable home based businesses. Achieve a steady stream of income working from home regardless of you current situation.

It's not a scam it's just not as easy as they make it out to be. 1 out of 100 people make money on the web when they try it. It doesn't matter if it's Herbalife or anything else.

Herbalife is a reputable company, and they sell a very good product, but if you are not into multi-level-marketing, you will never make any money at it.
I would look up Herbalife.com and go to their direct website and sign up with them rather than go through some strange off the wall internet sight. Their products are very good and helped me lose a lot of weight, but the stuff is a bit expensive and after a while you hit a wall .

I'm a stay-at-home mom, and I am always looking around for things to do online to make a little extra cash. I get emails all the time for Herbalife. I don't think it's neccessarily a scam, but I don't believe them when they say, "Make $4,000 a week!', etc,,,,
You have to sell the stuff....I personally don't think you can make any money off of it... I wouldn't waste your time.

Herbalife is a real company and sells real products. The problem is marketting relies on MLM heavily, and if you do a little search you'll find BAZILLION Herbalife sites out there already. So selling them online is an automatic nonstarter.
And if he's trying to turn you onto Quixtar, you can forget about that one too, as it relies on enlisting other people. :P

herbalife is not a scam. The problem is it is hard to sell that now because there are so many new diet pills coming out all the time.

I don t think they are safe. The more I talk to friends the more I become sure they can lead to serious health problems. A friend of mine passed away in her early thirties and she was an enthusiast of this product. I am certain Herbalfe played a huge factor in her sudden mysterious death. Another friend is undergoing issues with her liver and her doctors say some factors are due to herbs and vitamins. Her friends who used it are also having health problems as well. I am currently researching this product and trying to spread word on my information
