My fellow American Brothers and sisters...
don't get me wrong but there's one thing I can't understand.
America being one of the most advanced, powerful, and best in democratic issues, but still the people can't get their messege accross to G.W.Bush..
I am a half Arab half Irish living in the United Arab Emirates, we here in the UAE love Americans and most of us know that it is not the fault of America that all of this (Iraq, abd bow Iran) is happening, it is the American Govt. mostly the Bush Party.
until when are people going to suffer like this?
Dear Americans, please help our brothers and sisters in Iraq by doing your best at convincing your president to pull back the troops...
The War is over, now let the Iraqi Govt. be concerned about Iraqs mess..
any comments?

To answer your primary question, Iraq oil is what Bush and his cronies want.

Bush believes that pulling out of Iraq will make things worse in the LONG-TERM. I'm talking about keeping Iraq from being controlled by Al-Qaeda and most especially, Iran. However, you're right about the Iraqi governemnt being concerned about its mess. Maybe they have not matured yet in controlling its own soil and so they need to be assisted by the U.S. troops. I'm not sure if Bush's troop surge will work but let's hope so. Also, the opposition needs to UNIFY on a plan, assuming Bush's is the "wrong" one. I do support a pull out of Iraq as GRADUALLY as possible so as to both help and make Iraq independent from the U.S.

well the thing is were stuck in iraq and every option is bad. 1 if we puul out quickly iraq will be in worse turmoil and fall due to the fact the the iraqis are uneqiuped to fight the terrorists and civil war will esclate. 2. if we slowly withdraw we risk more americans lives and more citicism and hate, 3 if we stay well you know. 4 if we pull out and leave some troops they'll be overrun. Damend if we do Damned if we dont. By the way im glad to see someone understands the blame is not on the citizens of america but on bush and the government thank you.

Because President Bush believes it will be devastating for Iraq, the USA, and the rest of the world to pull out now.

*laughs* haven't u seen all the people protest? don't u think people are against the iraq war, the people have gotten thier message across loud and clear mr.bush has ignored it. well some of the support the war however other are purely against it well Mr the answer to your question is that it's easy to get into wars but its 100 times harder to pull out f them
"the bush party" i.e the republicans don't even have the majority any more but the war is still going on. because america wants to make sure the job is done properly and thts y saddam was hanged!
bush is gonna back out just slowly taking his time and ..... he created the "iraq mess" why shuld the govt deal with it? he should sort it out.

Take this in mind and see how you feel about Iraq. Iraq is very weak right now and can't take care of their self. That means the bad guys can easily walk in and take over. It is in our interest to stop them from taking over until Iraq can take care of itself.

Now you say "well why is it our business if bad guys take over Iraq, whats it matter to me." It matters a lot because when the bad guys take over they will have a foothold to attack other nations including the one you are sitting in. That foothold could throw the whole middle east into more turmoil than its already in,

In this day and age you gotta take out the enemy before he takes yyou out. If you don't its too late. Thats why we couldn't sit over here and let Saddam threaten us. We had to get him out of power, he was a danger to us and even his own people.
