will our wftc be affected?

my husband works and i work one hour a week we get child tax credit and wftc if i do more hours a week work do they take the money off me pound for pound? if so is it worth me working apart from for my own self esteem.

If you go over the amount you are allowed they will take every penny off you.I am talking from experience its not worth working extra time.

It may not be worth your while working extra if you still want to claim. You should have a look at the wftc calculator on the council's website and see what the difference will be.
