On the show he went off to college, in real life I think he just got tired of the kiddie show thing and went to do something else.

Steve has been gone a while now. Steve went off to "college" and that's when his brother Joe came to live with Blue and the others. I believe the actor that portrayed Steve says he left because he was beginning to go bald and to pursue something with music.

He got fed up with the show and being "Steve".. He quit and now he's in a punk rock band. (Swear to God, lol.)

In the show he went off to college so his cousin Joe took his place. I don't know why he really left, but recently I noticed an interviw with him on nickjr.com. I didn't watch it, but I could tell it was since he quit the show (he looked very different), maybe in that interview he talks about why he really left.

I do not know, I think his brother took over for a time. My boys outgrew this and I thought it was sooo cute!! Watched it every day with them, kids just have to grow up darn it!!
