its tough now a days for someone to find there grove , because back in the past people had to work right away to provide food to eat and for there children and work the farm sort of speak, or get drafted into the war of WWI & WWII&&Korean Conflict& Veitnam war, and all people thought of then was to get home start a family and work to provide, and so on, now people since the cold war have time on there hands and go to collage and then they get out and have no clue what they are or what they realy want to do in life , Very Normal, whatever is in your heart that you really love to do, thats your calling , and sometimes it take a while to find it, don't rush it your young and doing just fine it will come to you in time good luck

Well in that case, it's important we find out who we are. Our society tends to be fast-paced and sensual, so it does not do a very good job at promoting self-awareness. I suggest taking some time off to yourself to reflect, maybe just a few minutes a day, someplace quiet. Some call it prayer, others meditation, or simply reflexion - but it is a privileged time you give yourself to enter into contact with a deeper, truer part of you. Letting your true self get expressed that way regularly will develop a line of communication between your surface self and your deep self, and eventually lead to better self-knowledge.
Best of luck to you in everything.
And have a good weekend as well.

Well first you have to find yourself to be yourself, and the simplest way to do this, is avoid all of the things that are not you, By defining yourself by what you are not, it leaves you open and adaptable to change. By finding similarities between myself and other people, i form friendships, by capitalizing on our similarites and ignoring our differences we can still both be ourselves yet be completely different people. By being myself i tend to put myself in uncomforatable position just to see whether or not they are worthwile, if they are not i avoid them and try to find something else, i like change, yet i myself rarely change for anything. I know who i am, and i accept the fact that some people don't know who they are, but i believe this is mainly the fact that they stopped to actually think about it.

At 58 years old, I have no reason to be pretentious! I do the very best I can in all things (good or bad) and that is ME! One has to take the bad with the good. I just shuffle along where the winds take me and I take it all in by sight and smell and touch.

I am me...

When one is content with their inner strengths, feelings, confidences -- well, hey why would they want to be anyone other than themselves? Now, add a few phobias, uncertainties, and one loud-mouthed jerk that is so full of himself due to his/her insecurity -- we shouldn't buy into any words, feelings unless we know they are ours.

Try to be aware of what sensations/activites/ideas that feel right to you, as a person, who ever you are, and try making a list. For example, I am a writer because writing is a fundamental part of my life, even though I have never been published.

be yourselves usually means being honest, true to yourself and to others. We know we are ourselves, if not , then i think it's time to get a reality check whether we're still here or we're all gone -up to the moon. you know what i am talking about.=)

Hi right back.. hard question.. if you can find a quiet place.. (I have been there) sooo quiet you can hear your heart beating and see the blue sky & sun (or stars and moon) - then let your mind steep in that while you relax completely.. then allow your natural and true feelings to guide you..

Sunny & warm here in Phoenix.. : ) great weekend..!!

If you start having doupts that's cuz you question your self as you knew it. you start wondering if you are not that image you had in your mind for yourself, you wonder if you are less than it or more or just different. then you have to find yourself.when you do this, you can be your true you..

that's my view about this subject, anyway i believe to be you is as easy as difficult.but honestly, it's the only way....

Learning WHO we are takes many years. But, you can start by not listening to what others think. Take the time to do what makes you happy. Research and study many, many facts and ideas and beliefs, then make up your own mind. Work to make yourself the best person by educating yourself on the many possibilities in life.
When you "find yourself", be true to yourself. Respect yourself. Allow yourself to learn from your mistakes and admit that you are wrong sometimes.
Good Luck

The point of "Be Yourself" is not to conscoiusly try to be anyone - just do what comes naturally.
