Something black or dark colors.

You should be going by 'Sunday Best' standards, which means no jeans or casual attire, and black is the color of paying respect. If you don't have that famous black dress then darker colors, earth tones preferably, but definitely no bright colors. And no mini skirts either. If Little children are brought for whatever reason, they can get away with a little more. If at all possible stick to the norm with them as well, but if not it is more understandable for a child to dress as a child not a morner.

It really depends on your age and the person who died. More traditional, somber funerals really call for darker, duller colors. You really don't need to wear all black anymore (unless you're the widow)... but it depends on the person and the type of funeral. When my grandma died we all wore bright colors because that's what she wanted us to do. In other countries other colors are worn, too, so it depends on cultural issues as well....

You'd be best sticking with something in a darker color that doesn't show too much skin.

Nothin flashy or exposing. Pants and top fine...jeans are out of place at funerals. Skirt and top, or dress. Just try to stick with neutral or dark colors. Don't break out your latest spring fashions for the occasion.

Dark colors, preferably black. Stay away from bright, eye-catching colors, like red. Women can wear a sensible dress or pant suit, and men a suit or sensible pants with a nice shirt jacket and tie. Just stay away from flashy bright colors, respectfully.

Black is the standard color for mourning, but I think that you could wear any neutral in a dark shade and be perfectly fine, as long as the clothing is quiet and not too revealing or in a flashy print.

Classic, not trendy clothing. Typically you wear blacks and navys. It also depends on what the family is expecting, they could want to respect the wishes of the deceased and add some color in their honor.

You can chose to wear black, or some other darker color. If you knew the person and were close you could chose to wear something that was their favorite color.

depends on who the deceased person is. most people say black, but if you want to wear navy blue, or a nice calm color. ask someone who is going also.
