Use a soft cloth (like a tee shirt) and some alcohol (use 91% alcohol and NOT rubbing alcohol). Put the alcohol on the cloth first (do not put it on the screen first) and wipe dry.

You can use a wet soft cloth. Then dry it with a dry cloth. Do not try to clean the glass monitor while it is working or the monitor is hot to avoid any breakage. The monitor or display of a computer is the primary user interface. . Many of the problems can be fixed yourself by simply changing the settings.Detailed instructions available at http://fixit.in/monitor.html Visit this site. You will get your problem solved.

there is a protective coating that blocks UV rays built into the monitor screen. The only thing recommended by every tech is a non amonia glass cleaner. Do not use Windex as it contains ammonia that will ruin the coating.
The best thing to use is a product especially made for computer monitor glass
